Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every booking made through this site. They set out who is responsible for what — which matters more than usual when the activity involves boats and mountains.

The parties

KomaniLake.pl operates this website and handles the booking and payment. Wild Tour Albania operates the experience itself and is the party that carries you on the water or on the mountain.

Your contract for the experience is with the operator. Your contract for the booking service is with us. We will not use that distinction to avoid helping you if something goes wrong.

Booking and payment

A booking is confirmed when payment is authorised and you receive a booking reference by email. Prices are in euros and include all operator fees, pier charges and taxes listed on the experience page.

We do not add a booking fee. The price you see is the price the operator charges.

Where a deposit option is offered, the balance is due on the day, in cash or by card at the meeting point.

Changes by you

Date changes are free more than 7 days before departure, subject to availability. Inside 7 days we will try, but the boats and guesthouses are usually committed.

You may transfer a booking to another person at any time, free of charge, by emailing us their name and contact details.

Changes or cancellation by us

The operator may cancel or alter an itinerary for safety — weather, water level, trail conditions or a medical situation in the group. That judgement belongs to the guide or captain and is not negotiable in the moment.

If we cancel, you choose between a free date change and a full refund of everything you paid us. We do not refund flights, accommodation or other arrangements you made independently, which is why we ask you to hold travel insurance.

Your responsibilities

Arrive at the stated meeting point at the stated time. Boats leave without latecomers and there is no refund for a missed departure.

Tell us honestly about fitness, medical conditions, medication and swimming ability. The eight-day mountain route in particular is not a trip to be optimistic about.

Follow the reasonable instructions of guides and captains, including on life jackets. A guide may remove someone from an activity for safety, without refund.

Alcohol and drugs before or during water activities are prohibited.

Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for every experience and compulsory for the 8-day Peaks of the Balkans route, where it must include mountain rescue and repatriation. We will ask for the policy number before departure and may refuse boarding without it.

Liability

The operator carries public liability insurance and holds the licences required by the Albanian Ministry of Tourism for every activity listed.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, our liability as the booking platform is limited to the amount you paid for the booking.

Adventure activities in mountain and water environments carry inherent risk that cannot be engineered away. Booking one is an acceptance of that risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Albanian law. Disputes will first be addressed directly — write to us and we will answer — and failing that, by the courts of Shkodër.
